During Christmas, my family had held a small gathering at our house. Of course, my mom was the most busy one because she had to cook all the delicacies that my family would love when they came here every year. So, as usual, i'll help mostly with the chores and then in the afternoon, my relatives came and enjoyed the dishes; bringing presents for each family member. After eating, we exchanged gifts and the went home with a jolly face and of course happy.
But then I realized how fast time passes by and it's almost new year! I counted the days and I cried on the night of Christmas. For I know that I will miss the moments where my parents and my sister spend their time with me. And that I will miss every part of my home. But, hey, there's a part of me saying that "GO ON GIRL! DON"T GIVE UP!" Then, I slept soundly until morning...
On new year's eve, my mom baked some 'potato jackets' and also fish fillet and potato salad. I ate until my heart's content because I know I will miss them. At night, before the final countdown, my mom had bought two wishing lanterns so that we could fly them. As soon as it was lit, I started to take a deep breath, and I wished: I hope that this year, everything will go well with me and my family... and then it float away into the distance night sky. Along with the booming fireworks, it floated steadily, taking all of our wishes away, into the beautiful night sky of the new year...
Well, I'm now back here, with my buddies. Were starting a new year together and also some new resolutions for the year. But, most important, I get to have another new adventure for the new year! Till then!
